I trained under Jordan for approximately 3 months after having two previous trainers. He is by far the best personal trainer I experienced and guided me towards my best results with compelling ease. Most notably, Jordan was able to work with several unique injuries in my wrist and shoulder to give me a plethora of exercises that accommodated my injuries yet still provided me with my desired outcomes. He is very easy to spend an hour with and demonstrates each exercise with precision while ensuring the workout is properly replicated.
Jordan is up to date on many of the complicated concepts of nutrition and supplements as well as the best methods for building muscle. By the end of our sessions I felt very comfortable independently continuing my fitness plan and can only express gratitude towards Jordan for his instruction.

I first met Jordan in January of 2018. I was looking for a trainer to assist me as I had been diagnosed osteopenic and was also suffering from knee and leg pain. I was advised that Jordan was the person for me, as he was well trained and was completing his Honours degree in Kinesiology at the time.
From our first meeting I found Jordan professional, interested and supportive. Most importantly, Jordan from day one, took a complete interest in my personal story and how I got to where I was at age 62. He established through gentle testing the weaknesses and strengths of my body from top to bottom, and learned of my osteoarthritis in my knees and osteopenic condition. Together we developed an exercise program that to this date has been very successful.
Jordan's manner is friendly, yet gently authoritative. Exercise must be done properly and he is thorough in his assessment of technique so as to avoid damage, and very importantly, why the correct technique is necessary. The workout is always evolving and assessment continuous. This has paid off in spades. Most days my knee pain is entirely gone and my overall fitness and strength improved in just a few months.
I am pleased to recommend Jordan.

I had a personal trainer for several months before I met Jordan, so I thought it would be difficult to build a similar relationship with someone new. After one session with Jordan, I knew that I had so much more to learn and that I wanted to keep working with Jordan for as long as I could.

I started meeting with Jordan after I had been struggling to lose weight on my own. My poor meal planning and countless hours of cardio and strength training had only led to minimal results, if any. Once meeting with Jordan, I expressed my goals of losing weight while retaining as much of my strength as possible. With his help, I was able to set goals and made relatively minor changes in my diet and lifestyle that showed significant results. Within two weeks I was seeing and feeling the results of these changes I had made.
My biggest concerns stemmed from traditional dieting, as I was worried if I was to start losing weight that I would lose muscle mass as well. I was amazed to find that after 2 months I lost nearly 20 pounds, while also increasing my strength and cardio endurance since working with Jordan. Since beginning with Thrive I have been able to control my hypertension (high blood pressure) without the use of medication.
